SBI Asha Scholarship 2025 Last Date Today, November 15: Apply Before the Deadline

The State Bank of India, through its CSR arm SBI Foundation, has launched the Platinum Jubilee Asha Scholarship 2025 to provide financial assistance to deserving students from economically weaker sections. The application deadline is November 15, 2025, and eligible students are urged to apply immediately. 

Scholarship Coverage and Eligibility 

The SBI Asha Scholarship 2025 offers financial aid ranging from ₹15,000 to ₹20,00,000 per year, depending on the course and level of study. A total of 23,230 students from various parts of India will benefit from the programme this year. The scholarship is open to Indian nationals from Class 9 up to postgraduate level, including students at IITs, IIMs, medical colleges, and premier institutions. 

To be eligible, applicants must score 75% marks or 7 CGPA in the previous academic year, with a family income limit of ₹3,00,000 for the school category and ₹6,00,000 for all other categories. There is a 10% relaxation for SC/ST students, reducing the requirement to 67.50% marks or 6.30 CGPA. 50% of slots are reserved for female candidates and 50% for SC/ST students.

Eligible candidates can apply online through sbiashascholarship.co.in before November 15, 2025. The application process involves creating an account, filling the online form with accurate information, uploading required documents including academic marksheets, income certificate, identity proof, and recent photograph, and submitting before the deadline.

Categories Covered 

The scholarship covers school students (Classes 9 to 12), undergraduates and postgraduates from NIRF top 300 or NAAC A rated institutions, scholars at IITs and IIMs, students pursuing medical courses, and SC/ST students planning to study abroad at universities ranked in Top 200 by QS or THE World University Rankings for 2024-25. 

Required Documents 

Applicants need to upload academic marksheets, income certificate of parents or guardians, proof of identity such as Aadhaar card, recent passport sized photograph, bank account details for disbursement of scholarship funds, and any other relevant documents as specified in the application guidelines. 

Important Dates 

The application process began on September 19, 2025. The last date to submit scholarship applications is November 15, 2025. Applicants are advised to apply early and retain a copy of the submission of confirmation for future reference.
