MHADA has issued a final reminder to the successful applicants of the 2016 Kon-Panvel housing lottery. Out of 2,417 flats allocated in the December 2016 draw, 1,309 homes have remained unclaimed even after multiple notices.

What Should the 2016 Panvel Lottery Allottees Do?

MHADA has made available the list of pending allottees on its official website. It has requested these pending allottees or their legal heirs to visit the office of the Deputy Chief Officer, Mumbai Board, within 30 working days, from August 7 to September 6, 2025. They must appear in person along with all required documents to complete formalities and take possession of their allotted flats.

Email Option for Those Unable to Visit in Person

Those who are unable to visit due to unavoidable reasons can reach out via email to panvelkondoc.mhada@gmail.com. However, MHADA has made it clear that this email ID is strictly for the 2016 Panvel draw applicants, and no unrelated queries will be entertained.

Consequences of Missing the Deadline

MHADA has warned that failure to act by the given deadline will be interpreted as a lack of interest in the scheme. As a result, such applicants will be removed from the housing scheme, and their priority numbers cancelled. No further requests or appeals will be entertained thereafter.

Conclusion

With affordable housing in high demand and real estate prices on the rise, this is a critical opportunity for selected applicants to secure their homes. MHADA’s final notice serves as a last chance for allottees to claim their rightful property before forfeiture. Applicants and their families should take immediate action.
