
IndiGo Airlines has launched the Gesture of Care (GoC) program to support passengers affected by major flight delays and cancellations on 03rd, 04th, and 05th December 2025. Eligible travellers will receive a travel voucher worth ₹10,000, split into 2 vouchers of ₹5,000 each, to make future travel easier and more convenient.
The Gesture of Care is IndiGo’s way of helping customers who faced significant disruptions or were stranded due to flight delays or cancellations. Through GoC, each impacted passenger receives a voucher to be used for future bookings, ensuring a smoother travel experience.
The vouchers are issued per passenger, not per PNR. Each traveller receives 2 vouchers of ₹5,000, regardless of the number of people who booked under the same ticket.
For example, if a family of 3 members was traveling on the affected flights, each member will get 2 ₹5,000 vouchers, totalling 6 vouchers for the family.
The travel vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of issuance. You can book your trip within this period, even if your travel dates are later than the voucher’s expiry date.
The vouchers can be used for various purposes:
Eligible passengers will get an email with a secure link to access their vouchers.
Passengers whose flights were severely delayed (over 3 hours) or cancelled within 4 hours of departure between 12 PM on 03rd December and 11:59 PM on 05th December 2025 are eligible.
Minors and infants are also included, with parents or guardians able to claim the vouchers on their behalf.
To check eligibility under IndiGo’s Gesture of Care, visit goindigo.in/compensation, enter your PNR and last name, submit personal details, upload ID, and ensure your email is registered to receive updates and vouchers after verification.
