How to Claim IndiGo Compensation Under the Gesture of Care Policy?

IndiGo has introduced the Gesture of Care (GoC) initiative to support passengers impacted by significant flight delays and cancellations on 3rd, 4th and 5th December 2025.
Eligible customers can submit their details through IndiGo’s official compensation portal to claim travel vouchers.
The process requires basic booking information and document verification and is intended to address travel disruptions during the specified period.
Step-by-Step Guide to Claim IndiGo Compensation
Passengers can submit their compensation request through IndiGo’s official website by following these steps:
- Visit the IndiGo compensation page on the airline’s website - www.goindigo.in/compensation.
- Navigate to the “Gesture of Care” section.
- Select “Click here to submit your compensation details”.
- In the new window that opens, enter the booking reference “PNR” and the passenger’s “last name”.
- Provide personal details, booking information and upload a valid identification document.
- Review the information and submit the request.
Important Points to Note While Submitting the Claim
Each passenger must submit a separate form, even if multiple travellers were part of the same booking. IndiGo conducts an eligibility check and document verification before processing the request.
Once the verification process is completed successfully, passengers are informed of the outcome within 24 to 48 hours.
What Compensation Is Offered Under GoC?
Under the Gesture of Care policy, eligible passengers receive travel vouchers worth a total of ₹10,000. This amount is issued as two separate vouchers of ₹5,000 each, which can be used for future travel in accordance with IndiGo’s terms and conditions.
As per Indigo’s website “Gesture of Care (GoC)” is an initative of IndiGo’s commitment to facilitate customers on eligible flights who were scheduled to travel and were severely impacted and stranded due to prolonged delays and/or cancellations from Dec 3rd to 5th December 2025.
