Tata Mutual Fund has launched the Tata Multi Sector Passive Fund of Fund (FoF), with the New Fund Offer (NFO) opening on June 22, 2026.
The subscription window will remain open until July 6, 2026. The scheme falls under the thematic equity category and is available as an open-ended fund.
The fund will invest in units of passive equity mutual fund schemes across different sectors. Instead of buying stocks directly, it will allocate money to sector-focused passive funds.
The portfolio will be built through active allocation decisions, while the underlying investments will continue to track their respective indices. This fund-of-funds structure allows investors to gain exposure to multiple sectors through a single scheme.
The minimum investment amount for the scheme is ₹5,000. Investors can choose between the Growth and IDCW options. There is no lock-in period attached to the scheme.
An exit load of 0.5% will be charged if units are redeemed within 30 days from the date of allotment. No exit load will apply after this period.
The scheme will be benchmarked against the NIFTY 500 Total Return Index (TRI). The index tracks companies across large-cap, mid-cap and small-cap segments, offering broad representation of the Indian equity market.
According to the scheme's Riskometer, the fund carries a "Very High" risk rating. This classification shows its exposure to equity markets and sector-oriented investment themes, where returns may vary depending on sector performance and market conditions.
Rahul Singh has been appointed as the fund manager for the scheme. He will oversee portfolio construction and allocation across the underlying passive equity funds in accordance with the scheme's investment objective.
The offer opened for subscription on June 22, 2026, and will close on July 6, 2026. Following allotment, the scheme will continue to accept subscriptions and redemptions as an open-ended fund.
