Mutual Funds invested ₹1,482.28 crore in 6 Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) during February, according to data released by Prime Database.  

The allocation was spread across companies operating in analytics, clean energy, financial services, and engineering, among others. 

Largest Share Directed to Fractal Analytics 

Fractal Analytics accounted for the bulk of mutual fund inflows during the month. Investments in the IPO stood at ₹983.88 crore.  

Fund houses held 1.26 crore shares in their portfolios, making it the most subscribed issue among the 6 in terms of institutional allocation. 

Clean Energy and Lending Firm See Notable Inflows 

Clean Max Enviro Energy Solutions received ₹229.93 crore from mutual funds. Total holdings were reported at 21.83 lakh shares. 

Aye Finance also saw participation, with mutual funds investing ₹142.13 crore in the IPO. Holdings in the company stood at 1.19 crore shares at the end of the period. 

Moderate Allocations in Mid-Sized Offerings 

Omnitech Engineering recorded mutual fund investments of ₹80 crore. Funds held 35.24 lakh shares in the company. 

PNGS Reva Diamond Jewellery attracted ₹46 crore in investments, with mutual fund holdings at 11.91 lakh shares. 

Limited Exposure to Smaller Issue 

Accord Transformer & Switchgear saw comparatively lower participation. Mutual fund investment in the IPO stood at ₹0.33 crore, with holdings of 72,000 shares. This was the smallest allocation among the 6 offerings tracked.

Conclusion 

The February figures show that mutual fund investments were concentrated in a few larger IPOs, while smaller issues received relatively limited allocations.
