Built across 64.30 acres with 37 acres currently developed, Wonderla Chennai represents an investment of over ₹611 crore. Located on Old Mahabalipuram Road, it will be inaugurated on December 1, 2025, and opened to the public on December 2, 2025.
Designed to host 6,500 visitors daily, the park includes 43 rides across high thrill, family, kids, and water zones. Ticket prices begin at ₹1,489 with 10% online discounts and 20% concessions for college students with valid ID.
Rides and Themed Experiences
The park features attractions including Tanjora, India’s first and largest B and M inverted coaster, Spin Mill at 50 metres, and Sky Rail, a 540-metre monorail soaring 12 metres high. The design integrates stone carved avenues with futuristic ride areas, using climate responsive architecture and locally sourced granite and stone to reflect Tamil Nadu’s heritage.

Dining, Retail, and Guest Amenities
Wonderla Chennai offers 8 themed dining venues with 1,384 seats, serving regional dishes such as Dindigul biryani, Chettinad chicken, and Chennai seafood. Retail spaces feature Tamil cinema themed merchandise and handcrafted Thanjavur and Marapachi dolls. Facilities include spacious changing rooms, first aid stations, a 1,500-seat conference hall, and an 8,500 sqft open event area. Barrier free pathways and dedicated kids zones ensure accessibility and comfort.
Economic and Environmental Benefits
The project is expected to generate over 1,000 direct and indirect jobs. Sustainability measures include a 3.75 crore litre rainwater harvesting tank, plans for 1,000 kW solar power, 32,000 sq.m of green cover, and over 1,000 indigenous trees. All ride systems comply with EN 13814, IS 3328, and IS 10500 standards.
