TVS Motor Company has introduced the TVS King Deluxe Plus CNG three-wheeler in Tanzania. The launch event was held at the Gymkhana Sports Club in Dar Es Salaam, with the presence of dealers, finance partners, and fleet owners, as per the news reports. The vehicle will be distributed in partnership with Car & General.
The King Deluxe Plus CNG comes with a set of updated features. It has a king-size driver seat, a reinforced chassis and body with heavy-duty pillars, and tubeless tyres fitted on gold-coloured rims. The model is equipped with a 5 kg CNG tank and an additional 8-litre petrol fuel tank. Other changes include a longer and stronger steering column and larger foldable mirrors.
The vehicle is for both urban and semi-urban use. TVS Motor has described Tanzania as one of its priority markets, where demand for three-wheelers is supported by rising fuel costs and the need for affordable mobility solutions.
Sales and service support will be managed through a network of 33 dealers and 50 service centres located in Dar Es Salaam. The company stated that this setup is intended to provide reliable availability and after-sales assistance to customers.
TVS Motor Company operates in more than 80 countries and manufactures both two- and three-wheelers. The launch of the King Deluxe Plus CNG in Tanzania is part of its ongoing international business activities.
