Top Gainers and Losers on Nov 06, 2025: Asian Paints Tops Gainers and Grasim Leads Losers as Markets End Mixed

Indian stock markets ended lower for the second consecutive session on Thursday, dragged down by weakness in media, metal, and consumer durables stocks. 

Both the Nifty and Sensex traded choppy with a downward trend through the day. The Sensex slipped 148.14 points (0.18%) to finish at 83,311.01, while the Nifty 50 fell 87.95 points (0.34%) to settle at 25,509.70.

Top Gainers of the Day

• Asian Paints led the gainers’ list with a 4.64% jump, closing at ₹2,602.10, supported by strong buying volumes of over 44 lakh shares.
• Reliance Industries gained 1.47%, with the stock ending at ₹1,494.80 on heavy turnover of 1.67 crore shares.
• UltraTech Cement rose 1.04% to ₹11,942, showing stability in heavyweight cement counters.
• Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) added 0.95%, closing at ₹3,615.10, extending its recent strong momentum.
• Wipro inched up 0.90% to ₹240.05, supported by robust trading volumes of 71.4 lakh shares.

Top Losers of the Day

• Grasim Industries was the biggest loser, sliding 6.42% to ₹2,697, pressured by heavy selling.
• Hindalco dropped 5.39% to ₹786.55, with very high trading volumes of 3.47 crore shares.
• Adani Enterprises declined 4.50%, ending at ₹2,311, as profit booking weighed on the stock.
• Power Grid fell 3.15%, closing at ₹270.25, despite a strong turnover of 2.19 crore shares.
• Eternal slipped 2.62% to ₹305.30, continuing its weak trend.
