On Tuesday, August 12, 2025, Indian benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty closed in the red, weighed down by losses in Financial, Pharma, and Realty stocks. The BSE Sensex dropped 368.49 points, or 0.46%, to finish at 80,235.59, while the Nifty50 slipped 97.65 points, or 0.4%, to close at 24,487.40.
