On November 20, 2025, Tilaknagar Industries unveiled Seven Islands Pure Malt Whisky, created from 4 individual malts sourced from India and Scotland. Known primarily for its leadership in brandy with brands such as Mansion House and Monarch Legacy Edition, the company positions whisky as its next major growth vertical. This entry marks a significant step as the company diversifies further within India’s spirits market.
Whisky represented around 66% of total spirits consumption in India in 2024, with volume surpassing 1,30,00,000 cases in H1 2025. Continuous premiumisation and rising global interest in Indian made whisky support expansion opportunities. Seven Islands aims to participate in this rising demand through its Indo Scottish profile.
The launch strengthens the company’s portfolio following its recent Imperial Blue acquisition announcement.

The whisky uses 2 Indian malts from the Himalayan foothills and the Vindhyan ranges and 2 Scottish malts from Speyside and the Lowlands. This dual origin blend delivers aromas of tropical fruits, dried nuts and oak along with a balanced palate featuring spice, dried fruit and light smoke, finishing warm and smooth.
The brand name honours the 7 original islands that shaped Mumbai, the longtime base of Tilaknagar Industries. The bottle design features an anchor motif, cartographic elements and a V cut neck to symbolise the convergence of Indian and Scottish malt traditions. The whisky is priced at ₹5,200 for a 750 ml bottle with 42.8% ABV.
As of November 20, 2025, at 12:49 PM, Tilaknagar Industries share price was trading at ₹508.10 up by 4.13% from the previous closing price.
The launch of Seven Islands Pure Malt Whisky reflects Tilaknagar Industries strategic expansion into India’s premium whisky space. With its Indo Scottish blend and brand heritage concept, the company strengthens its presence in a category witnessing rising consumer interest.
