Swiggy has introduced a new service called Giftables, marking its entry into the gifting market in India. As per news reports, the feature is currently available in Bengaluru and will be expanded to Mumbai, Delhi, and other metropolitan cities in the coming days.
Giftables lists more than 10,000 items across categories such as cakes, chocolates, flowers, jewellery, toys, perfumes, and electronics. Customers can combine different products in a single order, eliminating the need to use multiple services separately.
The service offers delivery between 10 and 60 minutes, with the option to send items directly to recipients or to the buyer’s address. Giftables is available within the main Swiggy app, alongside its food delivery, Instamart, and Dineout features.
Swiggy plans to add an AI-based gifting chatbot that will recommend products based on the occasion, recipient, or relationship. Shoppers will also be able to browse gifts by category or event, covering both last-minute and planned orders.

No more juggling platforms or settling for uninspired gifts.”
The launch has been timed before the festive season, when demand for gifting generally rises. Swiggy will use its delivery network to scale the service as it rolls out across major cities in the coming weeks.
As of 10:30 AM on September 08, 2025, Swiggy share price was trading at ₹448.30, a 2.11% increase from the previous closing price.
By introducing Giftables, Swiggy enters the instant gifting market. The company plans phased expansion across major cities in the coming weeks.
