The Board of Directors, in its meeting held on October 29, 2025, approved the appointment of Mr Rahul Jain as the Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and one of the Key Managerial Personnel, effective December 15, 2025. Additionally, Mr Bharat Ramani, Chartered Accountant, has been appointed as the Internal Auditor effective October 31, 2025.
Rahul Jain Joins Suzlon as Group CFO
Mr Rahul Jain brings over 20 years of experience in corporate finance, having previously served as Group CFO at SRF Limited for 17 years. During his tenure, he led financial transformation initiatives, implemented technology-driven efficiencies, and enhanced financial discipline.
Before joining SRF, he spent 10 years at Jubilant Organosys Limited, contributing to its expansion and growth strategies. A Chartered Accountant by qualification, he will now lead Suzlon’s financial operations, capital allocation, and strategic growth initiatives.

Mr Girish Tanti, Vice Chairman, Suzlon Group, expressed confidence in the appointment, stating that Rahul’s strategic experience in financial transformation and fundraising will help build a “future-ready conglomerate.” Mr JP Chalasani, CEO of Suzlon Group, added that Rahul’s leadership will strengthen Suzlon’s financial health and corporate governance, enabling it to explore new growth opportunities within the renewable energy sector.

Appointment of Bharat Ramani as Internal Auditor
Mr Bharat Ramani, a Chartered Accountant with 24 years of post-qualification experience, has been appointed as the new Internal Auditor in place of Mr Shyamal Budhdev, who retires on October 30, 2025. Bharat holds a master’s degree in commerce and an Information Systems Auditor certification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
His career spans roles at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, Price Waterhouse Coopers, AXA Insurance, and Credit Suisse. Before joining Suzlon in February 2025, he served as Head of Internal Audit at ECL Finance Limited, an Edelweiss Group company.
