Global cues remain mixed, but GIFT Nifty indicates a positive start for Indian markets. On Monday, the NSE Nifty 50 closed 245 points higher at 24,877, while the BSE Sensex gained 676 points to settle at 81,274.

Here are key stocks to watch today: 

Indian Oil Corporation (IOCL)

  • IOCL continues to buy Russian crude oil, though discounts have narrowed to $1.5–$2 per barrel.
  • The US may impose a 50% tariff on India for these imports, after already announcing a 25% hike.

Reliance Power

  • Reliance Power’s associate firm, Reliance Enterprises, has launched a joint venture in Bhutan named GDL–Reliance Solar Pte Ltd.
  • The JV is a 50:50 partnership with Bhutan’s Green Digital Pvt Ltd, under the Gelephu Mindfulness City project.

JSW Steel

  • JSW Steel and POSCO (South Korea) signed a non-binding agreement to explore a 6 MTPA integrated steel plant in India.
  • This builds on their 2024 MoU for a potential 50:50 joint venture.

GMR Airports

  • GMR Airports will redeem non-convertible bonds worth ₹5,000 crore.
  • This includes three bond issues: ₹1,950 crore, ₹800 crore, and ₹2,250 crore.

Escorts Kubota

  • Escorts Kubota received a GST refund of ₹46.37 crore from Haryana tax authorities.
  • A small portion (₹29.78 lakh) was rejected as an ineligible input tax credit.

Reliance Consumer Products (RCPL)

  • RCPL has entered the healthy beverages space by taking a majority stake in Naturedge Beverages.
  • The move supports its plan to become a “total beverage company” with herbal and natural offerings.

Hinduja Group

  • Hinduja Group will invest $3–4 billion to triple renewable capacity from 3 GW to 10+ GW by 2030.
  • Plans include solar, wind, hybrid projects, and battery storage, while keeping its thermal assets running.
