Sterling & Wilson Renewable Energy Ltd (SWREL) has received a Letter of Award valued at around ₹415 crore. The order has been placed by a private independent power producer (IPP) for a balance-of-system EPC package. It covers the development of a 300 MW AC / 420 MWp DC solar photovoltaic project and a 220/33 kV pooling substation in Rajasthan.
The company said this is the first order from the private IPP market in the current financial year. With this addition, its total order inflows in FY26 have crossed ₹2,400 crore. The project value of ₹415 crore also includes operations and maintenance and applicable taxes.
In the first quarter of FY26, SWREL reported a net profit of ₹38.7 crore, compared with ₹4.8 crore in the same period last year. Revenue rose to ₹1,761.6 crore from ₹915 crore a year earlier. EBITDA was ₹85.4 crore against ₹24.8 crore last year, and margins improved to 4.85% from 2.71%.

SWREL has a portfolio exceeding 22.8 GWp across projects commissioned and under construction. Its operation and maintenance portfolio stands at 9.3 GWp. The company has operations in 28 countries, including India, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Europe, Australia and the Americas.
As of September 10, 2025, 10:55 AM, Sterling & Wilson Renewable share price was trading at ₹272.30, a 2.31% increase from the previous closing price.
The LoA for the ₹415 crore solar project in Rajasthan adds to the company’s pipeline for the current fiscal and reflects continued activity in large-scale EPC contracts.
