On December 9, 2025, SpiceJet announced the induction of 2 Boeing 737 aircraft into its fleet, enhancing its operational capacity and connectivity on essential domestic and international routes. 

Addition of Boeing 737 Aircraft  

The addition of these 2 Boeing 737 aircraft marks a significant enhancement in SpiceJet's operational capacity.  

Both aircraft have completed all necessary regulatory formalities and are now actively serving key routes such as Delhi-Bangkok, Ahmedabad-Dubai, and Ahmedabad-Kolkata. This strategic move is aimed at meeting the increasing passenger demand and improving schedule reliability. 

Deployment on Key Routes 

Commencing operations on November 26 and 29, the new aircraft are deployed on high-demand routes. These include international routes like Delhi-Bangkok and Ahmedabad-Dubai, as well as domestic routes such as Ahmedabad-Kolkata.  

The deployment is expected to offer greater choice and flexibility to travellers, especially during peak travel seasons.

As per press release, Debojo Maharshi, Chief Business Officer of SpiceJet, highlighted the airline's commitment to expanding capacity responsibly.
