Solarium Green Energy Ltd has announced fresh project wins that will strengthen its presence in India’s renewable energy space. The company disclosed that it has received multiple rooftop solar orders from NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam Ltd (NVVN), collectively valued at ₹8.22 crore excluding GST. The projects, spread across three Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) facilities, will also include long-term operations and maintenance responsibilities.
The largest of the three contracts is a ₹3.47 crore order secured on September 2, 2025, for a 1000 kW rooftop solar project at DRDO Chennai. This will be followed by two awards announced on September 4, 2025: a ₹2.98 crore order for an 860 kW rooftop project at DRDO Visakhapatnam, and a ₹1.75 crore order for a 505 kW installation at DRDO Chandipur. Each contract covers the supply, transportation, and installation of solar equipment, along with ten years of operation and maintenance services.
The projects form part of NVVN’s tender for EPC execution of grid-connected rooftop solar systems in the 201–1000 kW range, and are scheduled for completion within 120 days of the award.
The company noted that the cumulative orders from NVVN will not only diversify its customer portfolio but also support profitability in the coming years. Solarium added that the wins mark a significant step in deepening its foothold across high-value institutional projects. Importantly, the firm confirmed that its promoters have no interest in NVVN and the transactions do not fall under related party arrangements.

With these awards, Solarium Green Energy has reinforced its role as a key contributor to India’s renewable transition, while aligning with NVVN’s mission of advancing distributed solar generation. The three DRDO rooftop projects will serve as a milestone in the company’s expansion strategy, combining technical execution with long-term service commitments.
