Reliance Jio Introduces ₹200 Entertainment Recharge with OTT and Live TV Access

Reliance Jio has introduced a new prepaid entertainment add-on priced at ₹200, combining OTT subscriptions, live television access and mobile data benefits under a single recharge, as per news reports.  

The plan became available from May 27 across the MyJio app, Jio.com, retail stores and third-party recharge platforms. 

The recharge is valid for 28 days and is available only for users with an active Jio base plan. The company has listed the offering under its entertainment plans category. 

OTT Services Part of the Bundle 

The new recharge includes access to 15 OTT platforms. These include YouTube Premium, Prime Video Mobile Edition and JioHotstar Mobile + Hollywood.  

Other streaming platforms available under the pack are Sony LIV, ZEE5, Lionsgate Play, Discovery+, Sun NXT, Hoichoi, FanCode, Chaupal, Planet Marathi, Tarang Plus, Times Play and Kanchha Lannka. 

Jio said YouTube Premium access under the plan includes ad-free viewing, offline downloads and background playback.  

The company added that users will need to activate YouTube Premium and Prime Video Mobile Edition separately through the MyJio application. 

Television Channels and Content Access 

Apart from OTT subscriptions, the recharge also provides access to more than 1,000 live television channels through JioTV. According to the company, the offering includes over 150 paid channels across entertainment, movies, infotainment, and regional language categories. 

The channels include content from broadcasters such as JioStar, Sony Entertainment, Sun TV Network, Warner Bros. Discovery and ETV. Sports television channels are not included in the package. 

Data Benefits and Availability 

The ₹200 recharge includes 30 GB of high-speed data with a validity of 28 days. It does not provide voice calling or SMS benefits, as the pack functions as a data-only add-on. 

Eligible subscribers will continue to receive unlimited 5G data during the validity of their active base plan, the company said. OTT content under the recharge can be accessed through the JioTV application using a registered Jio mobile number login.
