Reliance Industries Ltd has announced its first dividend payout of ₹5.50 per share for FY 2024–25, marking its initial return to shareholders following the 1:1 bonus issue in October 2024. The dividend was approved during the company’s AGM held on August 29, 2025.
At its Annual General Meeting on August 29, 2025, Reliance Industries confirmed the final dividend of ₹5.50 per equity share of ₹10 face value for the year ending March 31, 2025. This marks the company’s first dividend announcement since issuing bonus shares in a 1:1 ratio during October 2024. The resolution saw overwhelming shareholder support, with 99.9994% votes in favour.
In an exchange filing, Reliance Industries had earlier fixed August 14, 2025, as the record date to determine eligible shareholders entitled to the dividend. With AGM approval secured, the dividend of ₹5.50 per share is scheduled to be paid within a week.
In comparison to previous years, the FY 2023–24 final dividend, ahead of the bonus issue, was ₹10 per share. For FY 2022–23, the company paid ₹9 per share. The ₹5.50 dividend declared this year is in line with the adjusted capital base following the bonus issuance.
