Reliance Consumer Products Limited (RCPL), the FMCG arm of Reliance Industries, has signed an exclusive agreement with L&T Metro Rail (Hyderabad) Limited. As part of the deal, RCPL will be the sole supplier of beverages across the Hyderabad Metro network.
The arrangement covers all retail points, including kiosks, vending machines, and stalls located within metro premises.
The agreement grants RCPL exclusive rights to sell its beverages throughout the metro system. This includes products under brands like Campa Cola, Campa Energy, Raskik, and Independence Packaged Water. These beverages will be made available to commuters through existing and future sales points inside metro stations.
Hyderabad Metro is one of the largest rapid transit systems in India, spanning 69.2 km with 57 stations. As of May 2025, the network recorded an average daily ridership of around 4.6 lakh passengers. In 2024, the system reached its highest single-day ridership of 5.63 lakh.
RCPL entered the beverage space after acquiring Campa Cola in 2022. The brand was reintroduced in 2023 and has since been expanded. Along with carbonated drinks, RCPL has also added packaged water and fruit-based beverages to its product line.

As per news reports, L&T Metro Rail (Hyderabad) has been working to improve passenger experience and generate non-fare revenue by adding commercial partnerships within the metro network. This collaboration with RCPL is part of that effort to integrate retail offerings into metro infrastructure.
RCPL will now supply beverages exclusively to the Hyderabad Metro network under a formal partnership with L&TMRHL. The deal provides Reliance access to a high-footfall public space while adding new beverage options for daily commuters across the metro’s stations.
