Reliance Consumer Products Launches ₹20 Joyland Flavoured Milk in Tamil Nadu

Reliance Consumer Products has entered the flavoured milk market with Joyland, a ready-to-drink dairy beverage priced at ₹20. The product has been launched in Tamil Nadu, with Strawberry and Vanilla as the initial flavours.
The company plans to gradually expand Joyland's reach across India. The launch adds another category to Reliance's consumer products portfolio as established brands compete for a share of the flavoured milk market.
Flavoured Milk Market Set to Grow
India's flavoured milk market is projected to reach ₹8,360 crore in 2026, compared with ₹7,600 crore in 2025 and ₹4,420 crore in 2021, according to an Euromonitor report cited by Mint.
Joyland enters a category that already includes Amul Kool, Mother Dairy, Nandini, Sunfeast Smoodh and Cavin's. The ₹20 price point is also in line with prices offered by other popular brands, meaning the launch does not rely on a lower price alone to stand out.
Reliance Expands Its Beverage Portfolio
Reliance previously entered the soft drinks market with Campa, priced at ₹10, competing with established brands such as Coca-Cola and Pepsi. Joyland marks its entry into ready-to-drink dairy beverages.
T. Krishnakumar, Director of Reliance Consumer Products, said the launch would widen the company's portfolio and consumer choices.
He added that Tamil Nadu was the starting point for building Joyland into a broader dairy beverages portfolio, with plans to expand its presence across India.

Conclusion
Joyland gives Reliance another entry into India's packaged beverage market. Its expansion beyond Tamil Nadu will determine how widely the new range reaches consumers in a category where established brands already offer products at similar prices.
