Brigade Hotel Ventures Limited (BHVL) has entered into a multi-deal agreement with Marriott International, Inc. to build six hotels across four markets in Southern India, as per an exchange filing. The projects will collectively add about 940 rooms to BHVL’s portfolio. The hotels will operate under 5 Marriott Bonvoy brands: The Ritz-Carlton, JW Marriott, Marriott Hotels & Resorts, Courtyard by Marriott, and Fairfield by Marriott.
With the new projects, BHVL and Marriott will have 8 hotels together, totalling 1,388 keys. The existing properties under this partnership include Sheraton Grand Bangalore at Brigade Gateway and Four Points by Sheraton Kochi Infopark. BHVL is currently the 2nd-largest owner of chain-affiliated hotels in South India among major private hotel asset owners as of March 31, 2025.
The Courtyard by Marriott Chennai World Trade Center is expected to open in FY27 with 45 guestrooms and 2 dining outlets. Fairfield by Marriott Bengaluru International Airport, with 224 rooms and conferencing facilities, is planned for FY28. The Fairfield by Marriott Bengaluru Brigade Valencia, featuring 151 rooms, is also scheduled for FY28.
The Ritz-Carlton Vaikom Island, Kerala, is planned as a 70-key all-villa retreat, each villa with a private pool, set to open in FY29. JW Marriott Chennai OMR is expected in FY30 with 250 rooms, multiple wellness spaces, and 1,400 square meters of meeting facilities.
The Thiruvananthapuram Marriott Hotel World Trade Center will form part of a mixed-use development, offering 200 rooms, five dining venues, and meeting spaces. It is slated for completion in FY30.

BHVL is a subsidiary of Brigade Enterprises Limited and operates hotels in cities such as Bengaluru, Chennai, Kochi, Mysuru, and GIFT City. The company’s portfolio spans upper upscale to midscale segments and includes properties operated by Marriott, Accor, and InterContinental Hotels Group.
As of 10:49 AM on August 14, 2025, Brigade Hotel Ventures share price was trading at ₹83.65, up ₹0.18 or 0.22% from the previous closing price.
The 6 upcoming hotels represent a planned addition to BHVL’s hospitality portfolio, expanding its presence in key Southern Indian markets and increasing room capacity across multiple categories.
