Lemon Tree Hotels Limited has announced the opening of its latest property in Ranchi, Jharkhand, marking another milestone in its strategic expansion across eastern India. Operated under a franchise model, this hotel becomes Lemon Tree’s second property in the state after its successful presence in Jamshedpur.
Located in the heart of Ranchi, the new Lemon Tree Hotel features 45 contemporary rooms and suites designed to suit both business and leisure travellers. The property offers the brand’s signature amenities, including Citrus Café, Slounge recreation bar, a fitness centre, and a swimming pool.
Ranchi, known as the “City of Waterfalls,” is witnessing rapid urban development and increasing tourism. Its growing industrial base and improved connectivity make it an ideal location for Lemon Tree to strengthen its footprint in India’s expanding mid-scale hospitality segment.
“Ranchi is emerging as one of India’s preferred destinations, drawing both leisure seekers and business travellers alike. With this new opening, our first in the city, we are delighted to strengthen our presence in Jharkhand and offer guests the brand’s signature combination of comfort, warmth, and value,” said Vishvapreet Singh Cheema, President, Lemon Tree Hotels.
The company’s latest investment underscores its intent to focus on high-potential regional hubs. Lemon Tree’s expansion strategy is centred on delivering affordable comfort and dependable service across India’s tier-2 and tier-3 cities, catering to rising business and leisure demand.
