Jupiter Electric Mobility Pvt. Ltd. (JEM), a subsidiary of Jupiter Wagons Ltd., has opened five new showrooms in New Delhi, Ghaziabad, Trivandrum, Ahmedabad, and Pune. The expansion took place between November 3 and 7, 2025.
As per the exchange filings, with this, JEM now operates 7 showrooms across India, including existing outlets in Bengaluru and Hyderabad.
The new facilities cover major logistics and industrial zones. Delhi and Ghaziabad strengthen the company’s reach in the NCR region, supported by Delhi’s EV Policy 2.0 that targets 95% EV adoption by 2027.
Pune and Ahmedabad serve as important industrial and transport hubs, as Maharashtra and Gujarat together account for over 22% of the commercial vehicle market. Trivandrum expands JEM’s network in Kerala, a state with more than 2.35 lakh registered EVs and an 11.33% share of India’s EV market.
JEM’s flagship model, the JEM TEZ, is a 1.05-ton four-wheeler electric light commercial vehicle (eLCV). It offers a certified range of more than 300 km and a practical range of about 190 km. The vehicle comes with an 80 kW peak motor, 23% gradeability, and a high payload capacity. It is intended for city logistics, intra-city goods transport, and last-mile delivery.
The expansion is backed by Jupiter Wagons’ existing manufacturing facilities in Kolkata, Jamshedpur, Indore, Jabalpur, and Aurangabad. The company has applied its rail freight engineering experience to the EV segment.
JEM is also developing a service network through partnerships with Porter, Pulse Energy, Automovill, and other firms to provide charging, servicing, and financing.
