JSW Infrastructure Share Price Rises 3%; Signs 30-Year Concession for Kolkata Dock Project

JSW Infrastructure Limited announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, JSW Kolkata Container Terminal Private Limited, has signed a 30-year concession agreement with the Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port Authority, Kolkata, on 15th September 2025.
Project Scope and Background
The project involves the reconstruction of Berth No. 8 and mechanisation of Berths 7 and 8 at the Netaji Subhash Dock, Kolkata Dock System, under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model. This follows the company’s earlier disclosures dated 7th July 2025 regarding the Letter of Award and 1st August 2025 regarding the incorporation of the special purpose vehicle, JSW Kolkata Container, for execution of the concession.
The concession, granted for 30 years from the date of award, strengthens JSW Infrastructure’s footprint in the eastern region of India, enhancing cargo handling capabilities and supporting the modernisation of critical port infrastructure.
The mechanisation efforts are expected to improve efficiency, reduce turnaround times, and bolster trade volumes at one of India’s oldest and most strategic ports.
JSW Infrastructure Share Price Performance
On September 16, 2025, JSW Infrastructure share price (NSE: JSWINFRA) opened at ₹315.00, up from its previous close of ₹314.90. At 3:23 PM, the share price of JSW Infrastructure was trading at ₹326.05, up by 3.54% on the NSE.
