ITC Hotels has signed definitive agreements with Kumar Infra Hotel Private Limited (KIHPL) to manage a new luxury hotel in Patna, Bihar. Reports indicate that the project will feature 140 rooms and is being developed on a 1.5-acre site.
The hotel project is part of Bihar Tourism’s development programme. It was awarded through a competitive bidding process conducted by the state government. KIHPL secured the project under this process and finalised ITC Hotels as the operator.
The upcoming hotel will include rooms, dining spaces, and event facilities. It is being developed to serve both business and leisure travellers, adding capacity to Patna’s hospitality sector.
As per the news reports, Anil Chadha, Managing Director at ITC Hotels Ltd stated, "Our luxury properties epitomise the culture and ethos of each destination, offering indigenous experiences while celebrating the rich heritage of the region through distinctive architecture, arts, crafts & rituals."
Manish Kumar, Director - Kumar Infra Hotel Private Limited, said, "It is a matter of pride for us to develop this project with the vision of the Bihar Government to strengthen the commercial and cultural identity of Patna. We look forward to our association with ITC Hotels to develop an iconic luxury project to elevate the tourism potential and hospitality landscape of Bihar.
The company currently manages luxury hotels in Delhi, Gurugram, Mumbai, Jaipur, Agra, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Chennai, Goa, Hyderabad, and Ahmedabad. The Patna property will be its first luxury hotel in Bihar.
As of October 07, 2025, 09:57 AM, ITC Hotels share price was trading at ₹216.84, a 0.56% increase from the previous closing price.

With the agreement between ITC Hotels and KIHPL, Patna will see the addition of a new 140-room luxury property. The development is part of Bihar’s tourism infrastructure expansion and adds a new location to ITC’s national portfolio.
