HyFun Foods has entered a three-way partnership with Adani Logistics and Evergreen Marine Corporation to strengthen export logistics through a dedicated rail-based transportation network, as per PTI report.

Dedicated Rail Corridor to Support Frozen Food Exports

The initiative introduces an integrated export logistics corridor designed specifically for transporting HyFun Foods’ frozen potato products.

Under the arrangement, a dedicated train service will move export cargo from Virochannagar ICD to Mundra Port, which is part of the logistics ecosystem operated by Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Limited. Evergreen Marine Corporation will manage onward international shipments from the port.

The company said the dedicated rail freight model is expected to improve supply-chain reliability while ensuring temperature-controlled movement of products for overseas markets.

Project Expected to Reduce Road Traffic and Emissions

According to the company, each train movement under the initiative could replace nearly 40 road trips.

The shift from road to rail transportation is expected to lower fuel consumption, reduce congestion on highways and cut carbon emissions linked to export logistics operations.

The dedicated train service has been deployed exclusively for HyFun Foods shipments as part of the integrated corridor structure connecting inland logistics, port handling and global exports.

HyFun Foods Targets Wider Global Expansion

Kamlesh Karamchandani, Group Executive Director of HyFun Foods, said the partnership would strengthen the company’s export infrastructure and support long-term international expansion plans.

“Today, HyFun Foods exports to more than 40 countries across global markets, and this collaboration will further strengthen our export capabilities by enabling more efficient and sustainably reliable export operations,” Karamchandani said.

He added that the initiative would play an important role in supporting the company’s ambition to expand its presence to more than 100 countries over the coming years.
