Hero MotoCorp Enters France in Partnership with GD France

Two-wheeler giant Hero MotoCorp has officially entered the French market, marking its 52nd international presence as part of its ongoing global expansion strategy.
The company launched its Euro 5+ compliant Hunk 440 motorcycle at the UTAC Mortefontaine proving ground near Paris and announced a partnership with GD France, a leading motorised mobility distributor.
Strategic Expansion and Product Launch
Building on its successful presence in Italy, Spain, and the UK, Hero MotoCorp’s move into France further strengthens its European operations. The newly launched Hunk 440, tailored for the A2 performance category, features a high-tensile steel trellis frame, 36.0 Nm torque, 27 bhp power output, and KYB USD cartridge forks.
Safety and convenience are enhanced with dual-channel ABS, all-LED lighting, and a fully connected TFT digital display with turn-by-turn navigation. Priced at €3,599 (including VAT), the motorcycle is available in Twilight Blue and Phantom Black.
Partnership and Dealer Network Development
Through its tie-up with GD France, Hero MotoCorp will initially operate through 30 authorised outlets across major French cities, expanding to 50 dealerships by 2026 and achieving full network coverage by 2028.
The collaboration will include a strong after-sales ecosystem, with warranty coverage extending up to five years under a limited launch offer.
Brand Vision and Market Positioning
Under its global brand philosophy “You Are Limitless”, Hero MotoCorp continues to strengthen its identity as a manufacturer focused on innovation, performance, and rider empowerment.
The brand’s sporting credentials include becoming the youngest team to secure a Dakar Rally podium finish within seven years of its debut.
The France entry also supports Hero’s broader goal of expanding in developed markets, supported by its Centre for Innovation and Technology in India and Tech Centre Germany near Munich.
