HDFC Asset Management Company (HDFC AMC) has declared its unaudited financial results for Q2 FY26, alongside a board-approved 1:1 bonus share issue. The record date for the bonus is fixed as Wednesday, November 26, 2025, subject to shareholder and regulatory approvals. The credit for bonus shares is expected by December 14, 2025.
HDFC AMC's board approved both standalone and consolidated results for Q2 and H1 FY26 after a limited review by B S R & Co. LLP. The company also announced a bonus issue of 1 fully paid-up ₹5 equity share for every 1 share held.
The proposed issuance involves 21,40,03,751 shares, aggregating to ₹107 crore, from the Capital Redemption Reserve and Securities Premium. Post-bonus, the paid-up capital will rise to ₹214 crore, excluding ESOP adjustments.
Standalone total income for the quarter stood at ₹1,121.92 crore, with ₹1,026.04 crore from operations and ₹95.88 crore as other income. Profit after tax came in at ₹718.06 crore, while basic EPS was ₹33.56. Notably, tax provisions reversed in Q2 led to a ₹46.81 crore credit. Consolidated results were similar, with ₹1,123.59 crore income and ₹718.43 crore PAT.
HDFC AMC reported ₹1,465.98 crore PAT for H1 FY26 on a standalone basis and ₹2,322.36 crore in income. Operating cash flow totalled ₹1,200.80 crore. A final dividend of ₹90/share for FY25 was paid during this period. The company allotted 94,199 shares via ESOPs in Q2.
The bonus issuance awaits shareholder approval through a postal ballot and regulatory nods. The authorised share capital remains unchanged. The trading window for designated persons remains closed until October 17, 2025, in line with insider trading regulations. The board meeting took place on October 15, 2025, from 12:15 pm to 2:45 pm.
