HCL Technologies (HCLTech) and Zscaler, on October 17, 2025, announced an extension of their partnership to work on AI-supported security and network transformation. The focus is on using artificial intelligence and automation to improve how organisations detect, manage, and respond to cyber threats.

Platform Link Between HCLTech and Zscaler

Zscaler’s Zero Trust Exchange platform has now been connected with HCLTech’s Cybersecurity Fusion Centre (CSFC). This setup allows both systems to share data and coordinate security operations across networks. The plan is to help enterprises identify potential risks early and limit the impact of security incidents.

Use of Artificial Intelligence

HCLTech has added its AI systems, AI Force and AI Foundry, to the partnership. These platforms are to automate parts of cybersecurity operations, such as threat detection and alert management. The tools also include checks for responsible AI use, aiming to make security processes faster and more consistent across systems.

Service Integration

HCLTech’s Universal Managed Detection and Response (UMDR) services have been integrated with Zscaler’s security products. This allows for better monitoring, quicker responses, and more automated handling of security events. The companies will also offer services like zero-trust and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) assessments, along with managed network security for enterprises.

Demand for Zero-Trust and SASE

According to the HCLTech Global Cyber Resilience Study, a large number of global security leaders have listed zero-trust and SASE as key areas of focus for the next few years. The updated partnership between HCLTech and Zscaler is for addressing this demand by providing structured solutions and managed support for these frameworks.

HCL Technologies Share Price Performance

As of October 17, 10:54 am, HCL Technologies share price was trading at ₹1,492, a 1.52% decline from the previous closing price.
