HCLSoftware Introduces AI-First Marketing Tech Platform Unica+ in India

HCLSoftware announced the launch of HCL Unica+ in India on September 16, 2025. The platform was introduced at the ET MarTech+ Summit & Awards 2025. As per the exchange filings, the company described it as an AI-based marketing technology system for helping organisations manage large-scale customer engagement
Application at Scale
According to the company, the platform is already in use at a leading financial institution. It is currently managing 500 million customer accounts and handling 1.4 billion touchpoints across 28 languages. The rollout is for India’s large and diverse market, where more than 800 million people use the internet, and digital services continue to grow rapidly
Market Context
The launch comes as India’s marketing technology industry is projected to reach $94 billion by 2030. Industry studies suggest that artificial intelligence is expected to play a major role in enabling personalisation and improving the accuracy of customer interactions

As per exchange filings, Rajesh Iyer, Executive Vice President & Portfolio General Manager, Business & Industry Solutions, HCLSoftware, stated, “HCL Unica+ is the force multiplier for this shift.
