Dilip Buildcon Secures ₹307.08 Crore Railway Contract for Barpali Loading Bulb Project

Dilip Buildcon Limited (DBL) has added another milestone to its infrastructure portfolio with a new contract worth ₹307.08 crore, awarded by ISC Projects Pvt. Ltd.
The project involves the development of the Barpali Loading Bulb at Kusara, under the jurisdiction of the South Eastern Railway’s Chakradharpur Division, strengthening DBL’s position in India’s growing railway infrastructure sector.
DBL Expands Presence in Railway Infrastructure
The project, to be executed over 24 months, will see DBL handle a comprehensive range of civil and track development works. These include earthwork, construction of minor bridges, side and central drains, and protection structures, alongside permanent way (P. Way) tasks such as track linking, fitting, and material transportation.
The scope also extends to civil and structural works, encompassing service buildings, goomties, heavy repair sheds, stores, and circulating areas, with a focus on durability through abrasion-resistant concrete flooring and ballast-less track beams.
The development will significantly enhance operational efficiency and freight capacity within the region’s rail corridor.

This order reinforces Dilip Buildcon’s growing foothold in the railway and transport infrastructure domain.
The company has steadily diversified beyond roads and highways, executing large-scale rail, metro, and civil engineering projects across India.
