Closing Bell: Sensex, Nifty Closed in Red; Trent Leads Gainers on November 12

On November 12, 2024, both the BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty50 ended the day in red. The BSE Sensex closed at 78,675.18, down by 820.97 points or 1.03%. Similarly, the Nifty50 also closed at 23,883.45, down by 257.85 points or 1.07%.
Sectoral Performance
On Tuesday, Nifty Realty and Nifty IT ended in green. Nifty Auto, Nifty PSU Bank and Nifty Financial Services ended in the red. Nifty Auto and Nifty PSU Bank dropped by more than 1.9%.
Top Gainers and Losers
On Tuesday, the top gainers on the Nifty include Trent, Sun Pharma and HCL Technologies. In contrast, the losers were Britannia Industries, Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) and NTPC.
Oil Prices
As of November 12, 2024, at 03:04 PM, Brent Crude was trading at $72.14, up by 0.56%.
