BSE MidCap and SmallCap Rebound 3% From Lows; TTML, Kaynes Tech Jump Up to 20%

Smallcap and midcap stocks saw a strong recovery on Tuesday as the BSE Smallcap and BSE Midcap indices rebounded up to 3% from their intraday lows. Stocks like Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) (TTML), Kaynes Technology, Solara Active Pharma, and Le Travenues Technology were among the biggest gainers.

By 2:55 PM, the BSE Smallcap Index was up nearly 1%, even as the Sensex slipped 0.57%. The index touched a high of 50,484.10, rising 3% from its low of 49,159.58. Meanwhile, the BSE Midcap Index climbed 2% from its intraday low of 45,139, hitting 46,090.

TTML Surges 20%

TTML jumped 20% to ₹54.63 intraday, completely reversing its 9% fall over the past two days. A massive 118 million shares were traded across NSE and BSE, showing strong buying interest.

Solara, Fermenta, and Kaynes Tech Rally Sharply

• Solara Active Pharma rose 13% to ₹622.35, with a 10x spike in volumes.
• Fermenta Biotech surged 12% to ₹295.40.
• Kaynes Technology gained 14% to ₹4,328, recovering 17% from its intraday low of ₹3,713.75, which was also its 52-week low.

Many Smallcapand Midcap Stocks Hit 52-Week Lows

Despite the rebound, 185 smallcap stocks and 11 midcap stocks touched their 52-week lows. Some notable names include: Bajaj Electricals, Balrampur Chini Mills, Bata India, NDTV, PCBL, Rupa & Co., Reliance Infra, Shakti Pumps, Sula Vineyards, TV Today Network, and others.

Conclusion

The sharp intraday rebound in the midcap and smallcap segment offers some relief after days of selling pressure. While several stocks hit 52-week lows, selective names like TTML and Kaynes Tech showed strong recoveries.
