BLS International Services Limited has announced that it received a substantial work order from the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) on August 25, 2025.
The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), Government of India, has appointed BLS International as the service provider for the District Level Aadhaar Seva Kendra.
The scope of work includes setting up and operating enrolment centres at district level, offering services such as Aadhaar enrolment, demographic and biometric updates, and other Aadhaar-related facilities through both appointment-based and walk-in modes.
The agreement is valued at ₹2,055.35 crore, inclusive of all duties and taxes, making it a significant engagement for BLS International. Categorised as an outsourcing project, the contract is domestic in nature and is expected to strengthen digital identity management services across India. The duration of execution is 6 years from the date of commencement.
The establishment of Aadhaar Seva Kendra at the district levels aims to provide smoother access to Aadhaar updates and enrolment services. This initiative is likely to enhance the convenience for residents in reaching UIDAI services while ensuring consistent quality and accessibility nationwide.

This project represents one of the largest service contracts undertaken by BLS International in India’s digital identity ecosystem. By managing Aadhaar Seva Kendras across districts, the company will play a pivotal role in strengthening the framework of Aadhaar services, which remain essential for multiple governance and citizen-centric initiatives.
On August 26, 2025, BLS International Services share price opened at ₹380.25 on NSE, above the previous close of ₹368.80. During the day, it surged to ₹392.85 and dipped to ₹374.05. The stock is trading at ₹379.20 as of 9:48 AM. The stock registered a significant gain of 2.82%.
