Before the latest purchase, BlackRock held 4,04,15,382 equity shares in Sammaan Capital, representing 4.86% of the company’s total share capital. Following an acquisition of 38,75,983 shares on October 31, 2025, its total holding has risen to 4,42,91,365 shares, accounting for 5.33% of the paid-up equity share capital.
The acquisition was executed through on-market transactions, with no change in the company’s total voting capital, which remains at 83,13,83,143 shares. This move places BlackRock above the 5% threshold that mandates regulatory disclosure under SEBI norms.

According to the filing made from Wilmington, Delaware, USA, the transaction did not involve any encumbrance, pledge, or convertible instrument. The increase purely reflects equity share purchases made on the open market.
The disclosure, filed with both the Bombay Stock Exchange and the National Stock Exchange, outlines that there was no change in diluted share capital post-acquisition.
