Sammaan Capital (formerly Indiabulls Housing Finance Ltd) announced its financial results for the quarter ended September 2025, reporting a sequential decline in profit and revenue. The company also completed a major capital raise during the period.

Financial Highlights

  • Net Profit: ₹309 crore, down 7.6% QoQ from ₹334.3 crore
  • Revenue from Operations: ₹2,251 crore, down 6.2% YoY from ₹2,400.3 crore
  • Capital Adequacy Ratio:3% as of September 30, 2025
  • Net NPA Ratio:9%

The decline in revenue and profit reflects challenging market conditions, even as the company maintains strong capital adequacy.

Preferential Issue and Capital Structure

During the quarter, Sammaan Capital completed a preferential issue of equity shares and warrants worth ₹1,250 crore. The issue comprised 13.16 crore equity shares and 9.38 crore warrants at ₹54 per share, increasing total equity capital to ₹2,192 crore.

Loan Book and Portfolio Composition

The company’s loan book remains retail-focused, comprising affordable home loans, loans against property, and co-lending partnerships with banks. Over 75% of the growth book is backed by residential property loans, with geographic diversification across India to mitigate regional concentration risk.

Target borrowers include self-employed professionals, small business owners, and salaried employees with an annual median income of ₹16 lakh. About 25.5% of the borrower base comprises salaried individuals. Average home loan LTV stands at 70%, while MSME LAP LTV averages 55%.

Fundraising Plans

The Board approved the issuance of secured, redeemable, non-convertible debentures of up to ₹5,000 crore on a private placement basis, subject to market conditions. This move aims to strengthen liquidity and support future growth.
