On August 5, 2025, Astra Microwave Products Ltd formally disclosed that it has received an order valued at ₹135 crore, inclusive of taxes. This contract involves the upgradation of a Ground-Based Radar System and has been awarded by DRDO, a premier domestic defence research entity. The execution timeline for the project is set at 18 months, aligning with Astra’s proven record of timely and high-quality deliveries.
In accordance with Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, Astra provided detailed disclosures, including the fact that this is a purely domestic order, with no related party transactions involved. The company has confirmed that neither the promoter group nor any related entities have any interest in this transaction.
The awarded contract is expected to further reinforce Astra’s position as a key contributor to India’s defence infrastructure.
