ACME Solar Holdings Limited, through its wholly owned subsidiary ACME Platinum Urja Pvt Ltd, has executed a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with SECI Limited for its 200 MW solar project integrated with a 100 MW/400 MWh energy storage system (ESS).

The tariff has been fixed at ₹3.42 per unit, and the agreement was formalised on 24 November 2025, following tariff adoption by the Central Regulator and power procurement approval by the State Regulator.

This PPA covers the remaining portion of the 350 MW cumulative capacity awarded to ACME Solar in July 2024. The company had previously signed a PPA for 150 MW in October 2024, and this latest milestone brings the full capacity under long-term contractual coverage.

Operational Requirements and Commissioning Timeline

Under the PPA terms, ACME Solar must supply power at an annual Capacity Utilization Factor (CUF) of 25–27% during solar hours. Additionally, the project must maintain a minimum availability of 70% on a monthly basis and 85% annually during evening peak hours, supported by the ESS component.

The project is scheduled for commissioning by June 2027, with timelines expected to improve due to the final grant of transmission connectivity already secured for the site. This ensures smoother execution and lowers integration risk for the hybrid system.

Growing Renewable Energy Portfolio

With this agreement, ACME Solar has signed PPAs for 800 MW of contracted capacity, including 2,320 MWh of battery storage, in the current financial year alone. This brings the company’s total PPA-backed capacity to 5,380 MW, strengthening its position among India’s leading renewable energy players.

ACME Solar Share Price Performance

On November 25, 2025, ACME Solar share price opened at ₹233.20, almost the same as its previous close of ₹233.15. At 11:53 AM, the share price of ACME Solar was trading at ₹235.65, up by 1.07% on the NSE.

With expanding capacity and integrated storage, the company is well positioned to support India's renewable energy transition and meet peak-hour power requirements more efficiently.
