JSW Energy Limited, through its step-down subsidiary Energizent Power Private Limited, has entered into a long-term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with NHPC Limited for the supply of 300 MW of ISTS-connected Solar-Wind Hybrid Capacity. This agreement marks a significant milestone in the company’s clean energy expansion.
The PPA has been signed for a duration of 25 years at a competitive tariff of ₹3.49 per KWh. The hybrid project, which integrates both solar and wind technologies, will be set up across Rajasthan and Andhra Pradesh. The commissioning of the project is expected within the next 24 months, contributing further to India’s renewable energy targets.
With this project, JSW Energy’s total locked-in generation capacity reaches 29.9 GW, which includes 12.5 GW operational, 12.8 GW under construction, and a 4.6 GW pipeline spanning wind, thermal, and hydro projects. Additionally, the company holds 29.3 GWh of energy storage capacity, comprising 26.4 GWh hydro pumped storage and 2.9 GWh battery energy storage systems.
