Upcoming NFOs: Six New Mutual Funds and One SIF to Launch This Week (September 28 – October 2, 2026)

Around six new mutual funds and one Specialised Investment Fund (SIF) are scheduled to open for subscriptions this week, according to The Economic Times news report citing data from ACE MF.
The new offerings cover different categories, including contra funds, exchange-traded funds (ETFs), a fund of funds, and a life cycle fund.
ICICI Prudential and WOC Funds
The ICICI Prudential Contra Fund will open for subscription on September 28, 2026, and remain open until October 12, 2026. The minimum investment amount is ₹1,000.
The WOC Diversified Equity Small Cap Active FOF, categorised as a domestic fund of funds (FoF), will also open on September 28 and close on October 12. Investors can participate with a minimum investment of ₹500.
Mirae Asset Life Cycle Fund
The Mirae Asset Life Cycle Fund 2056 is another NFO opening on September 28, 2026. The life cycle fund will accept subscriptions until October 12, 2026, with a minimum investment requirement of ₹5,000.
Two ETFs Open for Subscription
Two ETFs are also scheduled to launch during the week. The Nippon India CRISIL-IBX FAR Gilt ETF, a debt-oriented ETF, will open on September 29, 2026, and close on October 12, 2026. Its minimum investment amount is ₹1,000.
The Aditya Birla SL BSE Total Market ETF, an equity-oriented ETF, will open on September 30, 2026, and close on October 14, 2026. The minimum investment amount for the ETF is ₹500.
SIF Requires ₹10 Lakh Minimum
The MSIF Equity Long-Short Fund, a SIF from Mahindra Manulife Mutual Fund, will open for subscription on September 30, 2026, and close on October 14, 2026. It has a minimum investment requirement of ₹10 lakh.
