German Green Steel & Power IPO is a book build issue of ₹303.90 crore. The issue comprises a fresh issue of 2.09 crore shares aggregating to ₹290.00 crore and an offer for sale of 10.00 lakh shares aggregating to ₹13.90 crore. 

German Green Steel & Power Limited is a book-built BSE and NSE IPO with a price band of ₹132–₹139 per equity share. The bidding window opened on September 25, 2026, and closes today, September 29, 2026. 

The basis of allotment is expected to be finalised on September 30, 2026. Refunds for unsuccessful applicants and credit of shares to successful applicants’ demat accounts are expected on October 1, 2026, while the shares are scheduled to list on BSE and NSE on October 5, 2026.

German Green Steel & Power Business Overview 

Incorporated in 2008, German Green Steel and Power Limited is an iron and steel manufacturer primarily operating in the western region of India, with a strong presence in Gujarat and a focus on TMX Bars. The company is predominantly conducted on a business-to-business basis with 3 major types of customers, namely (i) distributors, (ii) dealers and (iii) institutional customers. The brand “German TMT” has established strong recognition for TMT Bars in Gujarat. 

The company's manufacturing capabilities ranging from 8 mm to 40 mm. The corporate and registered office is located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, and the Samakhiyali Facility is situated close to ports in Gujarat. 

The company operates two manufacturing facilities in Gujarat: the Samakhiyali Facility, which is vertically integrated, and the Viramgam Facility, operated through its material subsidiary, German TMX Private Limited. They are currently in the process of expanding the installed capacity of Sponge Iron at their Samakhiyali Facility from 66,000 MTPA to approximately 1,48,500 MTPA, MS billets production capacity from 2,14,500 TPA to 4,12,500 TPA and existing installed TMT Bars production capacity at the Samakhiyali Facility from 181,500 MTPA to 346,500 MTPA. 

For the nine months ended December 31, 2024, the majority of sales were generated through a network of distributors and dealers. Business operations are predominantly conducted on a business-to-business basis, catering to three primary customer segments: distributors, dealers, and institutional customers. These intermediaries supply products to builders and contractors. 

As of March 31, 2026, the company's workforce comprised 1,357 employees, and they utilised the services of 143 contract labourers.
