Infosys, a global leader in next-generation digital services, has announced a strategic collaboration with Mental Health Foundation Australia (MHFA) to promote mental health awareness across Australia and New Zealand.

As part of this partnership, Infosys has designed and developed a mobile application named ‘Supportive Mind’, which aims to provide real-time, accessible mental health resources to communities and first aiders.

This initiative falls under Infosys’ broader Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) commitment, focusing on leveraging technology to foster community well-being. The app is intended to bridge critical gaps in mental health access and education, offering proactive self-care solutions to users facing demanding lifestyles due to work, study, or family obligations.

Features Designed for Everyday Wellness

‘Supportive Mind’ is equipped with a comprehensive set of tools, including:

  • Mood tracking and personalised insights
  • Activity recommendations and wellness challenges
  • Fundraising campaign tools
  • Self-care and mindfulness resources
  • Wellness tips delivered via push notifications

The app is designed to help users cultivate healthier habits and prioritise their mental health daily.

AI-Powered Insights for Social Impact

Built using Infosys Topaz, the company’s AI-first technology stack powered by generative AI, the app will track and evaluate performance metrics to understand and improve its social impact. It will be piloted initially across education, corporate, and community environments to gather early insights and feedback.

Andrew Groth, Executive Vice President, Asia Pacific, Infosys, said, “At Infosys, our purpose is to amplify human potential and create opportunities for people to thrive. We understand the critical role mental health awareness plays in building inclusive, supportive communities. Our collaboration with MHFA to develop a scalable digital solution underscores our commitment to leveraging innovation to make mental health support accessible to everyone, wherever they live or work. We are excited to see this initiative drive meaningful change for individuals and communities alike.”

Professor Melissa Green, Chairperson, Mental Health Foundation Australia, said, “We are thrilled to introduce Supportive Mind to the public in collaboration with Infosys. This app showcases our commitment to improving physical and mental health through innovative solutions. With Supportive Mind, users can easily incorporate well-being activities into their daily lives, helping them achieve a healthier, happier lifestyle.”
