
The Odisha government set to release the latest instalment of ₹5,000 under the Subhadra Yojana on January 22, 2026. This scheme provides financial aid to eligible women, and the current payout covers both newly added and previously enrolled beneficiaries.
Under the Subhadra Yojana, eligible women receive ₹10,000 annually in 2 equal instalments of ₹5,000 — on Rakhi Purnima and International Women's Day. Today’s disbursal includes over 4,57,000 women whose bank accounts will be directly credited with ₹5,000 through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
This instalment was initially scheduled for January 18, 2026, but was postponed to January 22, 2026. The scheme, launched on September 17, 2024, aims to support women aged 21 to 60 from economically weaker sections.

Ensure your bank details and the Aadhaar name spelling match to avoid transfer rejections.
Assistance for application-related issues is available at Ama Seba Kendras, CSCs, and through the Subhadra helpline. If eligible women missed applying in 2024-25 but apply in 2025-26, they will receive 2 instalments totaling ₹10,000 for the new financial year upon verification.
