Rajasthan Govt Unveils 3 New Policies to Fast-Track Digital Entrepreneurship

The Rajasthan government has taken a step towards digitising industrial approvals by moving the application process for select entrepreneur-focused policies entirely online.
Policies Shifted to Online Platform
The Department of Industries and Commerce has made the One District One Product Policy-2024, Rajasthan Export Promotion Policy-2024 and Rajasthan MSME Policy-2024 fully online.
Applications can now be submitted using SSO ID or e-Mitra, with the Rajasthan SSO ID functioning as the state’s single sign-on system.
From February 1, no offline applications will be accepted under these policies, and all approval orders issued so far will be uploaded on the portal.
Digital Access and Application Benefits
As per news reports, Industries Commissioner Suresh Kumar Ola said the online system allows applicants to submit proposals from home while receiving real-time updates on application status, reducing the need for repeated visits to government offices.
“The state government is continuously working towards simplifying and digitising the investment process. These efforts have made Rajasthan one of the leading states in the country in terms of simplifying business and industrial establishment processes,” he said.
Policy Incentives and Financial Support
Under the One District One Product Policy-2024, one unique product has been identified in each of Rajasthan’s 41 districts.
Micro and small enterprises are eligible for margin money grants of up to ₹20 lakh, grants of up to ₹5 lakh for advanced technology and software, and reimbursement of up to ₹3 lakh for quality certification and intellectual property rights.
The Rajasthan Export Promotion Policy-2024 offers assistance of up to ₹5 lakh for exporter documentation and up to ₹50 lakh for technological upgradation, while the Rajasthan MSME Policy-2024 supports small entrepreneurs through measures including interest subsidies on loans.
