Who Can Apply for the Karnataka PRC?

Applicants need to satisfy any one of the following conditions:

  • Born in Karnataka.
  • Lived continuously in Karnataka for at least 10 years, or parents/legal guardian have lived in the state for 10 years.
  • Studied in Karnataka for at least 7 years or completed schooling up to Class 12 in the state.
  • Father, mother, spouse, or legal guardian is a permanent resident of Karnataka.
  • Owns, possesses, or legally occupies residential property in Karnataka.
  • Applicant or parents are listed in government records such as Aadhaar, Voter ID, Ration Card, electoral roll, or revenue records.
  • Applicant or either parent has worked in a Karnataka government department, public institution, or eligible government organisation for at least 7 years.
  • Married to a permanent resident of Karnataka and currently living in the state. 

How to Apply for Karnataka PRC Online?

Follow these steps to apply online:

  1. Visit the Seva Sindhu portal.
  2. Log in using your registered mobile number.
  3. Search for the Permanent Resident Certificate service.
  4. Fill in the application form with the required details.
  5. Upload the necessary documents.
  6. Review the information and submit the application.
  7. Save the application reference number to track your application. 

Offline Application Process

Applicants who prefer offline services can visit:

  • Karnataka One Centres
  • Bengaluru One Centres
  • Grama One Centres
  • Nadakacheri (AJSK) Centres
  • Jurisdictional Tahsildar Office 

Officials at these centres help applicants complete the form, upload documents, and submit the application to the Revenue Department.
