Millions of farmers across India are eagerly anticipating the PM Kisan 21st instalment. However, before the funds are released, the central government has issued an important update that could impact a significant number of beneficiaries. According to recent reports, over 31 lakh farmers may be removed from the beneficiary list. Authorities believe that many of these individuals have been wrongly receiving the ₹6,000 annual assistance under the PM-Kisan scheme.

Government Crackdown on Irregularities

This isn’t the first time such corrective action has been taken. During the release of the 20th instalment, several payments were withheld due to irregularities and non-compliance with eligibility rules. A similar review is now underway for the 21st instalment, as the government intensifies efforts to ensure transparency and fairness in the scheme’s implementation.

How to Check Your Name in PM Kisan Beneficiary List?

If you are unsure about your eligibility or want to confirm your beneficiary status, it’s essential to check your details on the official PM-Kisan portal. By verifying your information and ensuring it meets all the necessary conditions, you can avoid any interruption in receiving your future payments.

Farmers are advised to visit the official PM-Kisan website and review their application details, Aadhaar information, and land records to stay compliant and continue receiving financial assistance without delay.

PM Kisan Yojana Eligibility

To continue receiving benefits under the PM-Kisan Yojana, farmers must comply with the following mandatory conditions:

  • The scheme allows financial support to just one member per farmer family. If both husband and wife are found to be claiming the benefit, one account will be deactivated.
  • PM-Kisan is meant exclusively for adult farmers. Accounts registered under minors (below 18 years) will be deemed ineligible.
  • Eligibility is restricted to farmers who owned agricultural land before February 1, 2019. Those who purchased land after this date do not qualify for the scheme.
