Eligibility Criteria for Delhi Lakshmi Yojana
To qualify for the Delhi Lakshmi Yojana, applicants must be women residents of Delhi for at least 10 years, aged between 18 and 60, with no criminal record. Only the eldest eligible woman in a family can apply, and the family income must not exceed ₹2,50,000 annually. Women with more than 3 children are ineligible.
Exclusions from the Scheme
Women who pay income tax, file GST returns, receive other government financial assistance, or are government employees are not eligible. Families with a member employed by the government, owning a four-wheeler, or with annual electricity consumption over 2,400 units are also excluded.
Options for Monthly Assistance
Beneficiaries can choose to receive ₹1,500 in a recurring or fixed deposit and ₹1,000 in a digital rupee wallet, or the entire ₹2,500 in a deposit. The recurring deposit has a 3-year lock-in period.
