The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has announced the launch of the DDA Towering Heights Housing Scheme 2026 at the East Delhi Hub in Karkardooma. The scheme offers two BHK flats and will follow a first-come-first-served allotment process. It is open to individual homebuyers as well as eligible government institutions applying for bulk allotments.
The project is currently under construction and is nearing completion, making it attractive for buyers looking for relatively early possession.
The housing scheme was officially launched on January 3, 2026. Registration for interested applicants will begin on January 8, the same day the detailed brochure will be available for download. A dedicated help desk will also start operations from this date to assist applicants.
Flat booking will open on January 23, and the scheme will remain open until March 31, 2026, giving buyers a limited window to apply and secure a flat.
Applicants must register on DDA’s Awaas portal by paying a one-time registration fee of ₹2,500. Those already registered on the portal are not required to pay the fee again.
Individual buyers must submit their applications online through the Awaas portal. Government institutions seeking bulk allotments must apply offline, along with the necessary authorisations.
For individual buyers, the booking amount has been fixed at ₹4 lakh per flat. This amount is non-refundable but will be adjusted against the final disposal price if the booking is successful.
There is no limit on the number of flats an individual can book under the retail category. Allotments will be made strictly based on the order of successful bookings.
Since the flats are over 90% complete, successful allottees will need to pay 75% of the total disposal cost initially, as mentioned in the demand-cum-allotment letter. The remaining 25% will be payable once construction is fully completed.
Possession is expected by July 2026. The tentative disposal price does not include GST, maintenance, conversion or water connection charges. GST is currently applicable at 5%.
Under the retail category, 741 two BHK flats are available for individual buyers. Additionally, 107 flats across select towers have been reserved for bulk allotment to eligible government institutions, with a minimum requirement of 10 flats per application.
The DDA Towering Heights Housing Scheme 2026 offers a structured and transparent opportunity for homebuyers to purchase two BHK flats in East Delhi. With clear timelines, near-completion status and a first-come-first-served process, the scheme may appeal to buyers seeking timely possession and government-backed housing.
