As per the news reports, in a major boost for students, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Saturday transferred ₹2,920 crore directly into the bank accounts of beneficiaries under multiple education schemes.

The initiative was carried out during a special programme called Sankalp via video conferencing and reflects the government’s push for financial transparency and timely delivery of welfare benefits.

The funds cover various flagship schemes, including the Chief Minister Girls Incentive Scheme for intermediate students, the Chief Minister Cycle Scheme, uniform schemes for boys and girls, scholarships, and the Kanya Utthan Yojana.
